Fundamentals of Competition by David Wampler
This competition class will be focusing on applying pistol fundamentals seen in practical shooting competition. We will be evaluating patterns, isolating areas in need of improvement and reping out practical scenarios. Students will be refining, Posture, Grip, Trigger Control, Target Focused Shooting, Transitions, and basic and advanced Movement styles. All of which will be tested running field courses commonly found in IPSC/PCSL. My goal as an instructor is to provide you with the tools necessary to self diagnose.
Gear requirements: Pistol, 3 magazines minimum. Strong side holster and minimum of 2 magazine pouches/holders. (No Serpa holsters)
If you intend to draw from appendix please message me and we will talk about that.
Double check your gear, there is nothing worse than a loose holster missing 4 out of 5 screws.
Round count expected: 1200 rounds (If a shooter wants to rep out more, feel free to bring more. You can always take it home.)
